DBNP-CHILDREN’S DAY-(14.11.2019)

Abigail Van Buren has said, “If you want your CHILDREN to turn our well, spend twice as much time with them, and half as much money.” On November 14th, 2019, we celebrated Children’s Day, which marks the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru with enthusiasm and zeal, keeping in mind his words, “I may not have time for adults, but I have enough time for children.” The teachers took charge of the day’s programme and make the day an unforgettable for the students. The celebrations began with the teachers praying for the children. The hilarious way, the teachers sang made the students laugh and giggle. The teachers showcased their talent by dancing on the peppy songs which also made the students to groove in. The students were in awe to see their mother-like-teachers in different costumes. Fr. George, the Rector and the Correspondent, addressed the students and appreciated the teachers for their amazing performance. He wished all the students a very Happy Children’s day and distributed sweets to the children. He blessed them and encouraged them to work diligently and enjoy their childhood a transient phase to optimum. It was a fun filled day for the school which would always be cherished as a fond memory.
